The Canadian Urban Transit Zero Emission Bus (CUTZEBTM) Joint Procurement Initiative is a transparent, scalable and repeatable process for conducting conduct joint procurement of turnkey solutions, comprising ZEBs and supporting infrastructure and equipment for the purpose of cost savings through bulk purchasing for multiple municipal transit agencies across Canada.

Transit agencies connect with CUTZEB and sign on to the round of procurement
Phase 2:
CUTZEB invites bids from consortiums, based on technical specifications developed in consultation with participating transit agencies
Phase 3:
Submitted bids are reviewed and a winning bid is selected for procurement
Who We Are
CUTZEB is governed by an independent Board of Directors, representing some of the agencies leading the way in the adoption of zero emission transit. CUTZEB also has a Project Steering Committee composed of representatives of Round 1 transit agencies.
